The Roles of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi in Influencing Plant Nutrients, Photosynthesis, and Metabolites of Cereal Crops—A Review

Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi are one of the important microbiota involved in a relationship with plant roots which plants and both share exchange nutrients shelter. Cereal crops most essential sources carbohydrates, dietary protein, vitamin B for humans, they supply fundamental diets. AM introduced as optimal approach real agricultural systems increasing growth productivity. According to study from previous decade, were shown promote crop production, particularly cereal crops. The symbiosis provides pleasant environment microorganisms root soil system, promotes nutrition water availability. increase nutrient uptake assimilation also photosynthetic activity, is directly associated growth. Furthermore, primary secondary metabolites, well soluble proteins cereals have been improve biomass, yield, productivity Additionally, use enhances plants’ stress tolerance against various environmental stresses. In this review, we integrate recent findings regarding effects application on soil, systems, availability uptake, photosynthesis, growth, large number studies reviewed, several limitations research gaps identified that must be addressed future studies.
